Hi there. Um, I'm thinking about having an extension built on the back of my house. I wanted to work... find out whether you could help me with that.

Thank you, Jane. So you're looking at having a rear extension built on your home. Could you tell me a little more about what you have in mind — for example, the size or type of extension you're thinking about, and what you'd like to use the space for?
Yes. Of course. Uh, we're looking at a single story extent... extension mainly to make the kitchen bigger, create an open plan sort of kitchen and dining area. We're not too sure exactly how big or the size we would look for advice on that.

Just to help us understand your situation a little better — do you have a rough idea of your budget, or are you at the stage where you'd like guidance on that too?
Yeah. We have an idea of the budget. We have around sixty five thousand pounds, um, but we would like advice on that as well.

Do you have any idea when you'd be looking to start the project — even roughly?
Well, I mean, we're looking to explore everything now, but possibly within the sec... six months, we want to get it started. Yeah.
That's a helpful timeframe. One last thing — do you know yet whether you've looked into planning permission, or is that something you'd want guidance on as well?
Well, actually, yes. I was going to ask you about that. Do do I need to add the planning permission before I consult with yourselves, or is it something that you can give advice on?
